A/Prof Phillippa Taberlay is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow, and Senior Research Fellow in Epigenetics in the School of Medicine, College of Health and Medicine at the University of Tasmania.

Phillippa’s research centres on understanding distal regulatory elements and three-dimensional aspects of gene control, and uses cutting-edge methods to delineate mechanisms of epigenetic reprogramming in development, cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
